Jewellery Care
Although perfect for everyday wear, all of our basci fine jewellery pieces are extremely dainty in nature and we highly encourage caution and care when wearing them. Whilst all our pieces are intended and destined for daily and lifetime wear, please keep in mind that they are delicate and dainty in nature and will require care.
With proper storage, careful use, and regular cleaning, your pieces will remain in your collection for a lifetime!
As a general rule, your pieces should be the first thing you remove at the end of the day and the last thing you put on when getting ready each morning.
To keep your jewellery in perfect condition, we recommend the following:
- Always remove your jewellery if it is likely to be exposed to chemicals of any kind. This includes cleaning products, moisturiser, makeup, soaps and perfumes.
- Always remove your jewellery before sleeping, swimming, showering, exercising, heavy lifting, or doing any kind of outdoor work.
- Give your diamonds and centre stones a little extra TLC by cleaning your jewellery regularly. We recommend using dish soap and a soft toothbrush under warm water to eliminate dirt without harming the diamonds. You can also use a polishing cloth for a quick shine.
- When storing your pieces, ensure they are each kept in their own individual boxes, in a dry and cool place to prevent scratches, tarnishing and tangles. Do not store multiple pieces together as this may cause tangling or scratching.
- Please remember that no matter the carat of gold, signs of wear are completely normal, and will definitely appear as you go about your daily life.
- Pearls are especially delicate. Please DO NOT scrub pearls and avoid direct contact with perfumes and chemicals. They are very delicate require extra-special care. Gently wipe your pearls with a soft, clean polishing cloth after use
